  4.    This month, I'm going to take a break from the usual
  5. format, and describe the processes that went into the
  6. production of the graphics for one of QUANTUMs latest
  7. graphical demos - Digital Aurora. The demo basically
  8. contains 9 screens produced on Illusionist put together
  9. with a menu screen, some music and a scroller, and I'll
  10. hopefully give you an idea of how to go about producing
  11. comparable screens. I'd reccomend that you get hold of the
  12. demo, and use it to accompany this article.

  14.    But first, I've got a few things to add to last months
  15. description of the rippley "bump mapping" process.

  21.    If you've ever tried the map facility on Illusionist,
  22. you'll know how easy it is to create some stunning effects
  23. with just a couple of full screen pics. But using this
  24. feature to give textures to objects, is also possible, and
  25. last months ripple process can be used to produce some new
  26. textures.
